Dr Sameena Sheriff

Dr Sameena Sheriff is an ophthalmologist specialising in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. She completed her masters in ophthalmology at M.S Ramaih Medical College, Bangalore in 2006 and has over 14 year’s ophthalmic experience. Since graduating, she has held a number of esteemed positions in ophthalmology departments across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Dr Sheriff has extensive experience in advanced cornea, cataract and refractive eye surgery procedures including cataract and laser eye surgery. Her main areas of interest are corneal disorders, multifocal IOLs and excimer laser ablation. She has won a number of prestigious awards such as the Dr. Jaiveer Agarwal gold medal: awarded by M. S. Ramaiah medical college as the best outgoing postgraduate student.

Dr Sheriff is an avid academic and has taken an active leadership role, presenting many scientific papers and reports at a number of national and international ophthalmic conferences, many of which focus on increased patient satisfaction.
